The ICM Training Team has completed another successful training campaign onboard the Seadrill West Defender Jackup rig in Mexico. Upon the request of Seadrill we mobilized ICM Instructors & HSE Experts to the rig to conduct Safety and HSE training for the West Defender crew. Several trainings were covered, including API Rigging and Slinging, Rescue at Heights, and Confined Space Entry & Rescue. We worked alongside the crew to refresh and review safety protocols established by Seadrill’s policies and procedures. The feedback received from the crew was very positive and with the assistance of Management and Safety Training Officers on board, we successfully covered all training needs, expanding the crew’s knowledge and skills; ultimately raising the rig’s overall training compliance and KPIs. We are honored to serve the Seadrill team in Mexico and worldwide.
